June is Men's Health Month. It's a great time to encourage your man to at least make an appointment for his yearly check-up. It's an even better time to go with him to that visit so you are aware of what's going on, and what you may need to do to help him stay on track if the doctor advises him to make some lifestyle changes.
This year for Father's Day, give him a gift that has health benefits like a massage, new grilling tools (grilled veggies taste great and are healthy), or how about a pedometer or heart rate monitor? What about a membership to a fitness facility, or paying the first month's fees for a weight loss program like Weight Watchers or Take Shape for Life?
